KuPn hermetic doors have a high degree of airtightness and are mainly used in laboratories with high tightness requirements.

Application area

KuPn is used in high density, high airflow environments where air leakage is unacceptable, such as
biological laboratories (BSL3, BSL4, BSL3-AG and BSL4-AG), pharmaceutical laboratories and medical cleanrooms.

Principle of operation

The hermetic door is locked and sealed with an electromagnetic lock and an inflatable sealing strip. The inflatable sealing strip is installed in the groove design on the side of the airtight door leaf. When the door is closed, the controller recognizes this and the inflatable sealing strip starts to inflate and expand, sealing and fixing between the door leaf and the door frame; when opened, the inflatable sealing strip deflates and contracts in the groove.

Design features

The doors are made of stainless steel, the structure is fully welded, durable. The rounded design of the door corners provides better tightness. The windows are made of double-layer tempered glass. High density inflatable sealing strip, corrosion resistant, safe and reliable, high strength. There are emergency stop buttons and manual vent valves on both sides.
